| As I was preparing to write this blog post, I started thinking about the number of times that I've had the opportunity to photograph Kara and Devin. I even went back and found the very first set of pictures that I did of them the Christmas of 2011. I feel very blessed by the fact that Nathan's family took me in as part of their own and that through that, I've gotten to watch these two. We attended football games, cheer competitions and graduations for these two. Last year we celebrated the wedding for two high school sweethearts and I got to capture their day. Yesterday they celebrated their first year of marriage and a couple of weeks ago I was once again honored to photograph another joyous season of their lives. It reminds me of how blessed I am to do what I do. To celebrate people's love stories. For their anniversary session, we met at the New River Trail State Park in Fort Chiswell, Virginia and what a perfect day it was. Their two Golden Retrievers even joined us for a few photos.
