Jordan starting working at Kayla’s church as a new worship leader and associate pastor several years ago. She started staying after church just to talk with him and eventually they started going out to dinners and having game nights with other members of the church. On one of these date nights about two years into their relationship, Jordan had to run an errand at the church after dinner to grab something. In one of the rooms, the song “Still Fallin” was playing and Jordan got down on one knee and asked Kayla to be his bride.
A country music recording artist and friend of theirs,Jody Pyles, came in moments later and played the song “She Said Yes”. Plus, Jordan had their families waiting just down the hall. And now, just a few short months of being engaged, Kayla and Jordan are now Mr. and Mrs. Such a sweet proposal and even sweeter wedding. I can’t tell you all how excited I was to witness these two saying “I Do”. Their faith and their commitment not only to each other, but to God is amazing to watch. |
