It's been a couple years since I've had these two in front of my camera and I must say that I was so excited to have them back. Taylor and Brandon got engaged this summer while on vacation to the beach and now they are planning their big day for July of 2016.
When Taylor told me where she wanted to shoot their engagement pictures...I jumped at the chance! It is one of mine and Nathan's favorite places! Somehow we always tend to gravitate towards it. True story: Nathan and I were headed to Hot Springs to Falling Springs Falls a few weeks ago. Left home, headed towards Roanoke and we to the falls. Instead of retracing our steps to return home...we went out of the way to go by Glen Alton. We just end up there. Its a little hidden gem! Beautiful pond, old farm house, walking trails and a neat little swamp area that is different for this part of Virginia. But I had such a great time with Taylor and Brandon, even if it was chilly and Taylor had to break out a blanket between shots. This fall-like engagement session seemed appropriate for the first day of fall. I hope you enjoy. |
