 | There are days that being a kid seems so long ago and then there are days that I question that I'm really an adult. Honestly, writing this blog post is the latter. According to our parents, Sam and I were just playing in the park together or having sleepovers. I can't believe that I am now at an age that I'm photographing weddings of friends I've known for 20 years. I mean really?!? Sam and Justin had the sweetest wedding, nestled in the valley where Camp Alta Mons is in Shawsville, VA. During their ceremony, there were laughs and tears and happiness...all the feels. I loved that the rain missed us that day, because it gave us plenty of time for bride and groom portraits. Which if you didn't already know, is one of my favorite parts of any wedding day, but especially with this childhood friend and her new husband. They walked through fields for me and at the end of the night stood in the rain for a nighttime rain shot. Sam and Justin, thank so for allowing me to be a witness to the start of this journey. It was an honor and a pleasure to photograph your wedding day. |
