Oh where to start. Sam and I have known each other since elementary school...I swear at one point in our lives we one of us was always at the other house. Or at least back then, it felt that way. I'm so excited to be able to celebrate this season of life with her and Justin! We met up at Bisset Park for a few shots before heading to Justin's farm in Pulaski. We even got to hang out with a couple horses and a few cows...and the cows may or may not have gotten their picture taken too. One thing that I say at every consultation is that I love engagement sessions. Not because I get to shoot but because it gives me a chance to get to my couples. I've known Sam for years, but I hadn't met Justin. And like most of my grooms, only Sam and I met up for our consultation. Engagement sessions give me a chance to see how my couples interact with one another and with me. They get to see that, yes I'm slightly goofy (or as my best friends little boy says "BOOFY") and that I make really silly jokes, I love laughing shots, I say a million "Just one more, don't |
move"'s, and I work really hard to make the guys have fun. Because if we're honest...most guys don't like their pictures taken. And Justin opened up and I got some genuine smiles and laughs. This is why I love engagement sessions...seriously y'all it is just nice to hang out with my couples, who just so happen to be getting pictures taken.
Justin and Sam will be getting married October and I love a good fall wedding, especially if it is one of my childhood friends!
