You read that right! Puppies, Ireland and scarecrows can all be found somewhere on my Pinterest boards. I probably spend way to much time browsing and pinning. I have over 2200 pins. I have a little bit of everything on my boards but my favorite thing to look at are WEDDING pins.
I love looking at things for my own wedding one day and at trends in the wedding industry. You can always find what you are looking for on Pinterest!
I also use Pinterest to see what my brides have an interest in. When I first sit down with my brides I always ask about what type of theme they have in mind for their big days. I usually get some general pink rustic wedding, or a black and teal wedding but with Pinterest I can see more of the details that draw my brides in and inspires them! Plus it gives me something else to talk to them about. If I see they have a board for crocheting, I can talk to them about things they have made. Overall, I find it a place to connect to my brides and other people who inspire me in the business.

Why do I have this? To remind myself and others of places in Virginia (and destinations) that are made for weddings. This is somewhat of a "Wish List" photographer style.

One of my 2014 goals that I didn't get to write about is something I have been wanting to do for quite some time. I want to get with other local vendors and create a beautiful mock wedding. With models for the bride and groom, a decorated tablescape, and a designed bouquet(from one of the above boards).
I am still in the early early planning stages for this but hopefully by this fall, I will have something else to share with you all!
