Excited to finally be sharing Carly's bridal portraits. Her dress is seriously amazing! Neutral colored florals covered the bottom of the dress, her sash had gorgeous ribbon flowers around it and her handmade bouquet even had a little owl placed in it.
We got together over a month ago at the Hahn Horticultural Gardens at Virginia Tech. It was gloomy and spitting rain but we still got in some garden pictures before the downpour. We were protected for a while in under a pergola but then we wrapped Carly up, covered up with umbrellas and rushed her back to the car. Since the rain got progressively worse, we went to the Inn at Virginia Tech to finish up her bridal portraits. Since I shoot mostly natural light, this was a fun experiment for me. Carly's laugh is contagious for sure. You can tell when you go through the images below that she had us all laughing. This wedding day was filled with beautiful details, happy tears and tons of laughter. I loved everything about Laura and T.J.’s pink, blush and gold wedding at Doe Creek Farm. Before I start in on just how amazing their wedding day was, let me just tell you about their proposal story. T.J. and Laura love trivia games. In our little town of Radford, a local restaurant host a “trivia night”. One night on the projector the trivia question was “Will Laura marry TJ?” Isn’t that sweet?

We started of Payton's senior session on the high school track. Since she competes in the relay runs, it was only fitting that she have some pictures on the track. Afterwards we played around in the creek, shot in the park and got some shots with the soccer goal, since that is her other passion.
